This first semester at ETH is centered on the act of doing – and undoing. Whether it’s our chair and teaching practice, our studio space in HIL G65, or the HIL building itself, everything is in a state of construction and reconsideration. We explore the potential of overlooked materials, repurpose standard elements to create non-standard structures, and find beauty in the imperfect objects that surround us.
